Payment Terms

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards from all major banks, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and other UPI-enabled apps), net banking from all major Indian banks, and digital wallets such as Paytm Wallet and Amazon Pay. We reserve the right to add or remove payment methods at any time without prior notice. All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise. We make every effort to ensure that pricing information is accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. If the correct price is lower than the listed price, we will charge the lower amount and process your order. If the correct price is higher than the listed price, we will contact you for confirmation before processing your order, or cancel and refund any amount already paid.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. By submitting your payment details, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge the specified amount. Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation via email or SMS. This confirmation serves as your proof of purchase.

If a payment fails during checkout, your order will not be processed and no amount will be deducted. You may retry the payment or use an alternative payment method. In case of a deduction without order confirmation, the amount will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. If you do not receive the refund, please reach out through our contact page.

Taxes

All applicable taxes, including GST (Goods and Services Tax), are included in the final price displayed at checkout. The tax breakdown will be visible on your invoice. You are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or levies that may apply in your jurisdiction beyond what is collected at checkout.

Currency

All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). If you are purchasing from outside India, your bank or card issuer may convert the amount to your local currency at their prevailing exchange rate. Any foreign exchange charges, conversion fees, or additional bank charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not covered by The Burning Thread.

Invoices & Receipts

A digital invoice will be sent to your registered email address upon successful payment. The invoice will include the order number and date of purchase, an itemized list of products or services, GST number and tax breakdown, total amount paid, and the payment method used. If you require a modified invoice or a GST invoice with specific business details, please contact us before or at the time of purchase through our contact page.

Advance Payments & Deposits

For certain custom orders, bulk orders, or pre-bookings, we may require an advance payment or deposit to confirm your order. The amount and terms will be communicated at the time of order placement. Advance payments are non-refundable unless we are unable to fulfill your order. The remaining balance must be paid before dispatch or delivery as per the agreed timeline. Failure to pay the balance within the specified period may result in order cancellation and forfeiture of the advance amount.

Late Payments

If you have an outstanding balance or are paying after the due date, a late payment fee of 2% per month may be applied to the outstanding amount. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your order if payment is not received within 15 days of the due date. Repeated late payments may result in requiring advance payment for future orders.

Refunds

Refunds are subject to our Refund & Returns Policy. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase. Refund processing time depends on your payment method and bank — typically 5–10 business days. Cash refunds are not available; all refunds are processed electronically. Payment Security

All payment transactions are encrypted using SSL/TLS technology. We do not store your credit card, debit card, or banking details on our servers. Payment processing is handled by RBI-compliant third-party payment gateways with PCI-DSS certification. We never ask for your PIN, OTP, or full card details via email, phone, or messaging platforms.

Third-Party Charges

The Burning Thread is not responsible for any charges imposed by third parties, including but not limited to bank transaction fees or international card charges, currency conversion fees levied by your bank or card issuer, payment gateway convenience fees (if applicable), and customs duties or import taxes for international shipments. These charges are outside our control and will not be reimbursed.

Modifications to Payment Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Payment Terms at any time. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes affecting existing orders will be communicated via email.

Governing Law

These Payment Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gujarat, India.
